Therefore the ROPID and the ČD organisations negotiated a boost of train connections along the route Hostivice, Hostivice-Sadová, Hostivice-U hřbitova and Chýně.

Additional carriage not enough

Connections running at 6:04 and 7:11 departing from Rudná and arriving to Knížecí at 6:50 and 7:56 respectively have two carriages as of 8th September. It is a temporary solution in order to help the situation of the peak hours. However, some afternoon connections from Prague are also fully occupied. From Monday 8th September, there will be some researchers monitoring numbers of commuters on the line. Based on these statistics, the system solution will be implemented which would improve the transport services of the S65 during all daily periods.

15 minutes shorter

The journey by train from Chýně to Dejvice takes only 28 minutes with one transfer in Hostivice (so far it has been a 50-minute journey by bus or/and metro), Smíchov Station can be reached within 30 minutes (transfer at Rudná), Na Knížecí 42 minutes, and Masaryk Station (transfer in Hostivice) 38 minutes.

From the new stop Hostivice U hřbitova to Dejvice it is only 23 minutes, 33 minutes to Masaryk Station and direct train to Na Knížecí takes 37 minutes. Previously, the PID transport from this area to Dejvice used to take about 50 minutes.

Busy stops Chýně and Hostivice-U hřbitova

On 1st September, five new train stops were introduced in Rudná and Hostivice areas (i.e. Rudná u Prahy, Chýně, Jinočany, Hostivice - Sadová and Hostivice - U hřbitova) and consequently, some changes were made to the timetable onthe  route Prague - Rudná u Prahy - Beroun and Prague - Smíchov Na Knížecí - Hostivice - Rudná.
