City of Prague cooperates with the European Investment Bank (EIB) since 1999. EIB loans resources are fully in line with long-term financial policy of the City of Prague and are used for the realization of "strategic investments projects." EIB loans have been used in the past as well as for the reconstruction of the city property after the flood in 2002. EIB is currently the largest creditor of the City of Prague.
