Prague City Hall cooperates on this project with the Prague Institute of Planning and Development and the Prague Organization of Wheelchair Users. Now, users can filter reserved parking spaces and public transport access for ZTP card holders.

According to the wishes of the ZTP and ZTP/P card holders, Prague City Hall obtained localization data and parameters associated with parking spaces for people with special needs. Every blue symbol with a wheelchair symbol on the Map of Accessibility describes the type of reserved parking space, its length and width, and its material and surface conditions. The ZTP card is for severely physically disabled people and the ZTP/P card for severely physically disabled requiring attendance.

“This year, information on access to the parking lot from the nearest pedestrian route will be added, as well as photo-documentation. In addition, all the information is continuously reviewed," says the Deputy Mayor for Transport Adam Scheinherr. Traffic filter also displays data about barrier-free access to metro and rail stations. There are currently 16 objects in this category.

Users can access information about barrier-free access to various buildings in different categories, including: culture, services, social services, healthcare, ATMs, sports, restaurants, education, public toilets, etc. The map displays three distinct types of accessibility – fully accessible, partially accessible and inaccessible. Each mapped object is also characterized by 13 icons that describe the slope and surface of passageways, stairs, narrow doors, wheelchair accessible WCs and other important information. The Map of Accessibility project has gained the acknowledgement of The Czech National Disability Council. Since 2017, there is also an English version available at:
