Prague police officers are making sure that the new ordinances on public alcohol consumption and cleanliness are observed. The city is thus kept cleaner and public order is less disrupted than before.

Rudolf Blažek: Citizen’s Security is Threatened not just by Criminality
The word security is very often perceived only with connection with criminality but there are certainly more dangers for individuals as well as for the whole city. Dealing with those dangers falls under the responsibility of people who work in the Crisis Staff of Prague and of politicians who have to keep in mind that a safe city is not something that should be taken for granted.

Flood Is Raging but Luckily Only on Maps
An unusual flood is raging at the fireman's trial web pages and also at the pages of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute ČHMÚ, the Ministry of Environment and other organisations. This flood hit the Czech Republic with the same intensity as the one in 2002.

Rescuers Trained for Plane Crash
A plane crash is horrific even when it is just simulated. Czech Airlines have got flight simulators which allow them to practise rescue actions. They not only serve the airlines´ employees but also the rescuers´ training.
