A new food pavilion, public grills, sports grounds, revitalised greenery and public areas are the new features for visitors to enjoy at the Prague Exhibition Grounds. Until recently, Prague Exhibition Grounds was neglected, and the buildings and public spaces were strongly impacted from years of dilapidation. The extensive complex in the heart of Prague is coming back to life after a large-scale reconstruction over the past two years.

Due to the lack of visitors caused by the coronavirus emergency, reconstruction works of public spaces, sidewalks, and greenery, which started last year, were completed in advance. And thus, Prague Exhibition Grounds has become a true multifunctional space, offering a wide range of leisure activities.

A food pavilion opened in the lower section of the grounds, near the new gate to Stromovka, this week. Public barbecue grills will also be available with an online reservation from next week.

A climbing wall, an adventure park for children and a fitness and workout zone were opened last year. In addition, the largest parkour park in the Czech Republic and a giant sandpit for children will be opened by the end of this month. Visitors can also avail of the options provided by the newly opened bistro, such as borrowing picnic baskets and purchasing ingredients for barbeques on the public grills.
