    L’Institut français de Prague (French Institute of Prague) is holding an exhibition called ‘Prague etc…’ by Czech-French photographer Michael W. Pospíšil until the 4th of July. The exhibition is held at Gallery 35 on Štěpánská Street, part of the French Institute which supports connection between French and Czech art.
  • Jun 8, 2020 Darwin Crater opens to the public
    Darwin Crater, the long-awaited habitat for Tasmanian and Australian fauna, including Tasmanian devils, has finally opened in Prague Zoo. The new exhibition is named after the area in Tasmania which was created by a fallen meteorite. The circular shape of Darwin Crater in Prague Zoo, which is the centre of the habitat, depicts the crater in Western Tasmania.

  • May 31, 2020 Czech Police Museum collecting facemasks for exhibition
    Wearing a facemask, respirator or bandana has become a new standard in the Czech Republic due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is mandatory to cover your nose and mouth from the 19th of March, with some exceptions. The Czech Police Museum is creating an original collection of masks to exhibit. Due to a lack of masks and because they are mandatory, some people started to make them at home.

    As part of the fourth wave of the release of coronavirus measures, both natural and artificial swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) are allowed to open. This also applies to Strahov swimming pool and Šutka water park, which both opened to visitors after a few months of closure on the 25th of May.
