Visit the popular Náplavka Farmers’ Market on the Vltava riverbank
‘Náplavka’, meaning riverbank, refers to the embankment of the Vltava River between Palacký Bridge and Railway Bridge in Prague 2, a place where farmers’ markets have regularly been held for 11 years. Even though it is not the largest in the Czech capital city, the market is unsurpassed with its friendly, relaxed atmosphere, which is one of the reasons that it is one of the most popular markets in the city. The 2020 season started in February, and the market is held every Saturday.

Famous teacher and writer’s life story in comics
The National Pedagogical Museum hosts an interesting exhibition that tells the life story of Jan Amos Comenius (Komenský in Czech) in a unique way. The ‘KOMenský v KOMiksu’ (‘Comenius in the Comics’) exposition will be open in the museum building on Valdštejnská Street until the 31st of December 2020.

Alarming exhibition in Prague Zoo
The Stolen Wildlife’ (‘Ukradená divočina’) exhibition was originally created for Ostrava Zoo. After being displayed in Hodonín Zoo, it has now arrived in Prague Zoo, where it can be seen in front of the Education Centre.

Exhibition of two centuries of portraiture in the Czech Republic
The exhibition at Prague Castle’s Imperial Stables (‘Císařská konírna’) displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.
