Traditional Christmas Exhibition at the Charles Bridge Museum
The life-sized nativity scene made from straw by the Polish artist Andrzej Wrzecionko, a Vltava fish nativity scene registered in the Czech Book of Records, an African themed nativity scene made from ebony wood, a nautical-themed nativity scene, and a nativity scene made from corn husk are just a few of the unique creations that you can see at the traditional Christmas exhibition at the Charles Bridge Museum. This year, apart from nativity scenes, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of Christmas music as part of the exhibition.

One hundred important personalities have planted trees on the trail in the Botanical Garden
For the past ten years, Prague Botanical Garden has been running a unique project called ‘Kořeny osobností’ (Roots of Personalities), where important public figures plant a rare tree on ‘Stezka osobností’ (Trail of Personalities). The hundredth tree has recently been planted.

Akcent International Theatre Festival
Akcent International Theatre Festival, organised by Archa Theatre, is on until the 2nd of December. Theatre installations, interactive scenic events and productions of documentary theatre are all on the festival’s programme.
Archa Theatre has been organising the international documentary theatre festival Akcent since 2010. Their aim is to create a platform for art that crosses the boundaries between art, social issues and politics.
