British singer Jade Bird presents self-titled debut album in Prague

Talented British musician

After graduating from the British Stage School and going to college, Bird went on a United States tour with Brent Cobb. He currently performs with a band consisting of guitarist Will Rees, drummer Matt Johnson and bassist Linus Fenton. In 2017, Bird won the ANCHOR 2017 award at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.

Dazzling criticism

After a few songs, such as ‘Lottery’ and ‘Something American’, Bird released her self-titled album last year. She will introduce this debut album to the Czech audience in the Roxy Club. The album garnered praise from listeners and critics, with music magazines NME and Clash evaluating it at eighty percent. Listeners in Prague can look forward to a distinctive vocal performance that boasts of "rawness and robustness", according to the Rolling Stones Magazine.

British songwriter couple

The British singer-songwriter couple, Ferris & Sylvester, will be opening for Bird. The couple met in 2016, and they did their first tour that same year in the UK. In 2018, they released their first record, ‘Made in Sreatham’, which they produced in their apartment in London. They released the EP with their own record label, Archtop Records. They will also be performing in Prague for the first time.
